Lara is a physical therapist who works in a variety of settings. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Lara first started running back in her college days, for fun and as a way to
stay active. It wasn’t until years later that she even thought about racing. Once she started, she hasn’t stopped. She has completed countless 5Ks and 10Ks, 13 half marathons, and 1 full marathon.
She is passionate about seeing people reach beyond their perceived potential and challenging herself and others to step out from their comfort zones.
Honestly, I first chose Tiux due to the fun pink colored socks they offered. I started using them consistently after my long runs during marathon training and noticed a considerable difference and improvement in recovery. Next thing I knew, I was ordering every color.

It’s a toss up between 2:
1) running my first marathon injury free and without ever hitting that “wall” that I’ve heard so much about.
2) cutting 23 minutes off my half marathon time.
My current goal for 2018 is to improve my half marathon race time. I have several spring half marathons planned, all which have a handful of hills. It will be a challenge, but I’m excited to rise to it.
Make sure you get enough sleep, especially when training hard.Recovery is so important. That’s something I’ve been learning the value of more each day.
