Diana wanted to find an outlet 4 years ago after a life changing experience. She found a bootcamp in her area and met the trainer of the gym. They began running and shortly after they decided to sign up for a race. In November 2012, they ran their first marathon and although it was painful and brutal, she was hooked!
Since then, she’s ran 14-full marathons, 13-half marathons, 1-15Ks, 2-10Ks and 11-5ks. She has also qualified and ran the Boston and Chicago marathons.
In 2015, she ran the LA, Boston, Ventura, Chicago and New York marathons.
Tiux socks are super comfortable, soft and they don’t feel like it’s too much compression. I used them while running, which helps my cramps and for recovery after training runs and races. Additionally I believe in the wonderful generosity of donating 1% of their revenue towards providing a safe and secure future for men, women and children affected by violence and conflict.
My greatest running achievement has been qualifying and running the 2015 Boston Marathon.
My current goal is to break my PRs in 2017: 5K sub 20 min, half marathon sub 1:40 and full marathon sub 3:30.
Train smart and listen to your body. However, I know that we are stubborn by default so enjoy your journey and don’t let anyone say you can’t do anything you want to do!
