She enjoys traveling and exploring new places. While she calls Michigan home, she’s usually scheming up an adventure with her running shoes in hand.

Hands down, running the Boston Marathon. I would have never imagined that I was Boston material, but it just goes to show that you can really do anything you set your mind to!
I’ve started to focus on some shorter distances in the last few months. I want to run a fast half (1:30) and a 5K in under 20 min (I’m so close!!).
Listen to your body! I’ve been through multiple injuries due to overtraining. It’s so easy to get caught up in the training and let really important things like recovery fall off your radar. I’ve learned that rest is sometimes the key to racing performance.
